Devices Tab
Welcome to the Devices tab documentation. The Devices tab provides a centralized view of the LoRaWAN end devices available within the current Customer account. It allows users to review device information, identify online and offline devices, filter the list, search for a specific device, open device-related views, and perform permitted management actions.
The Devices tab displays devices in a table. Each row represents one provisioned end device and contains its creation time, name, model, LoRaWAN class, identifiers, assigned application, and current status.
The information and actions available on this page depend on the current account scope, the user’s role, and the user’s permissions.

The filters are located above the device table. Filters narrow the current list and do not modify device configuration.
Use the Device model filter to display devices assigned to a specific device model.
- Open the Device model drop-down list.
- Select the required model.
- The table updates and displays only devices assigned to that model.
- Clear the selection to display devices of all models again.
The available values are limited to device models accessible within the current account scope.
Use the Status filter to display devices according to their current activity status.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Online | The device is currently considered active by the Network Server. The status is displayed in green. |
| Offline | The device is currently considered inactive by the Network Server. The status is displayed in red. |
To apply the filter:
- Open the Status drop-down list.
- Select Online or Offline.
- The table updates and displays only devices with the selected status.
- Clear the selection to display devices with all statuses.
Device activity is evaluated by the Network Server. A device may be shown as offline when no qualifying activity has been received within its configured inactivity period.
The Device model and Status filters can be used together. A device must satisfy all active filter conditions to be displayed.
For example, selecting the KIWI device model and Offline status displays only offline KIWI devices.
Select the Search icon in the upper-right corner of the Devices panel to open the search control. Enter a complete or partial device value supported by the interface to narrow the list.
Search is useful when locating a device by a known value such as its name or identifier. Search results remain subject to any active Device model and Status filters.
If the expected device is not displayed, clear the search value and any active filters, then try again.
Select the Refresh icon in the upper-right corner of the Devices panel to reload the table data. Refreshing is useful when device information or activity status may have changed since the page was opened.
Refreshing the list does not change device configuration.
The table provides the following information for each device:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Selection | Selects an individual device row. The checkbox in the table header selects or clears all rows currently available for selection. |
| Created Time | Date and time when the device record was created in the Network Server. |
| Name | User-defined device name. |
| Device model | Device model assigned to the device. The model defines device-specific characteristics and configuration options. |
| Device class | LoRaWAN operating class assigned to the device, such as Class A or Class C. |
| Device EUI | Globally unique 64-bit device identifier, also known as DevEUI. |
| Application EUI | Application identifier used by the device, also known as AppEUI or JoinEUI. |
| Application name | Name of the Network Server application to which the device belongs. |
| Status | Current activity state of the device: Online or Offline. |
| Actions | Device-specific shortcuts and management actions available for the row. |
The arrow beside Created Time indicates that the table can be sorted by device creation time.
Select the column heading or its arrow to change the sort direction:
- Descending order displays the most recently created devices first.
- Ascending order displays the oldest devices first.
The active arrow direction indicates the current sort order.
Use the checkbox at the beginning of a row to select that device. Use the checkbox in the table header to select or clear all available rows.
Selection prepares records for any bulk operation supported by the current interface and user permissions. Selecting a row alone does not modify or delete a device.
The action icons are located at the right side of each device row. They provide shortcuts to device-specific information and operations.
From left to right, the row contains shortcuts for:
- Opening the device’s detailed data or dashboard view.
- Opening the device’s communication or traffic-related view.
- Opening the device’s application or connection-related view.
- Deleting the device.
The exact destination and availability of an action can depend on the Network Server version, device configuration, and user permissions. Hover over an icon in the interface to view its tooltip before selecting it.
Select the Delete icon, represented by a trash can, to initiate device deletion.
Before confirming deletion:
- Verify that the correct device row is selected.
- Record any device identifiers or configuration that may be needed later.
- Confirm that removing the device will not interrupt an active application or integration.
Deletion is a destructive operation. Complete it only when the device is no longer required and confirm the operation in the confirmation dialog, if displayed.
Pagination controls are located in the lower-right corner of the Devices panel.
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Page | Displays the current page and allows the user to select another page. |
| Rows per page | Defines the maximum number of device rows displayed on one page. |
| Item range | Displays the records currently visible and the total number of records, for example, 1–7 of 7. |
| First page | Opens the first page of the device list. |
| Previous page | Opens the previous page. |
| Next page | Opens the next page. |
| Last page | Opens the last page of the device list. |
Pagination works with the current filters, search value, and sorting. The total count reflects the records matching the current list criteria.
The table may display no devices in the following cases:
- No devices have been provisioned in the current Customer scope.
- The selected Device model has no matching devices.
- The selected Status has no matching devices.
- The search value does not match an accessible device.
- A combination of active filters excludes all devices.
- The current user does not have permission to view the expected devices.
Clear the search and filters, refresh the table, and verify the current Customer scope before concluding that a device is missing.
- Open Devices.
- Open the Device model filter.
- Select the required model.
- Review the filtered table.
- Select the required value in Device model.
- Select Offline in Status.
- Review the matching devices.
- Open the relevant device view from the row actions for further investigation.
- Select the Search icon.
- Enter the known device value.
- Review the matching row.
- Clear active filters if the expected device is not displayed.
- Select the Refresh icon.
- Locate the device by using search or filters.
- Review the Status column.
- Confirm that the model is assigned to at least one accessible device.
- Verify that the correct Customer scope is open.
- Confirm that the current user has permission to view the relevant devices.
- Clear the Device model and Status filters.
- Clear the current search value.
- Refresh the device list.
- Confirm the device’s Customer and Application assignments.
- Verify the user’s access permissions.
- Refresh the list to obtain the latest state.
- Confirm that the device is powered and operating normally.
- Check network coverage and gateway availability.
- Verify the device’s activation and application configuration.
- Review the device’s communication-related view for recent activity.
- Check the configured inactivity timeout where applicable.
- Confirm that the current account role permits the operation.
- Verify that the device has the configuration required by that action.
- Hover over the icon to review its tooltip.
- Contact an administrator if additional permissions are required.
The Devices tab provides a consolidated list of the devices available to the current Customer. Use Device model and Status filters, search, sorting, refresh, and pagination to navigate the list. Review the table columns for device identity and assignment information, and use the row actions to access permitted device-specific views or management operations.
