Gateway Dashboard

Overview

Gateway Dashboard provide visual insights into gateway performance, traffic, and signal quality.

  • Dashboards are available only for individual Gateways.
  • Only one Gateway Dashboard can be opened at a time.
  • To access it, navigate to:
Open Gateway → Gateway Details → Dashboard (Beta).

The following dashboard types are supported:

Available Dashboards

RX Packets

  • Type: Multi-Line Chart

  • Purpose: Displays uplink packets received by the gateway, broken down by validity:

    • Total Received – Total number of packets received from devices.
    • Valid Received – Successfully received packets without errors (e.g., passed checksum).

    Example RX Packets

TX Packets

  • Type: Multi-Line Chart

  • Purpose: Displays downlink packet activity:

    • Received – Number of downlink transmission requests received by the gateway.
    • Emitted – Number of downlink packets transmitted over the air.

    Example TX Packets

RX Packets per Datarate (Heat Map)

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Shows uplink packets received per LoRaWAN data rate:

    • Y-axis – Displays only the data rates used within the selected time range and filters.
    • Raw data is aggregated into time buckets.
    • Frequency is mapped using a Magma color scheme.

    Example RX Packets per Datarate

TX Packets per Datarate

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Shows downlink packets transmitted per LoRaWAN data rate:

    • Y-axis – Displays only the data rates used within the selected time range and filters.
    • Raw data is aggregated into time buckets.
    • Frequency is mapped using a Magma color scheme.

    Example TX Packets per Datarate

RSSI per Channel – MIN

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Displays the minimum RSSI values (dBm) per frequency channel:

    • Y-axis – Displays only channels used within the selected time range and filters.
    • Raw data is aggregated into time buckets.
    • Values are mapped using a Magma color scheme.

Example RSSI per Channel – MIN

RSSI per Channel – MAX

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Displays the maximum RSSI values (dBm) per frequency channel:

    • Y-axis – Displays only channels used within the selected time range and filters.
    • Raw data is aggregated into time buckets.
    • Values are mapped using a Magma color scheme.

Example RSSI per Channel – MAX

RSSI per Channel – AVG

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Displays the average RSSI values (dBm) per frequency channel:

    • Y-axis – Displays only channels used within the selected time range and filters.
    • Raw data is aggregated into time buckets.
    • Values are mapped using a Magma color scheme.

Example RSSI per Channel – AVG

RX Packets per Channel

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Shows the number of uplink packets received per frequency channel:

    • Y-axis – Displays only the channels used within the selected time range and filters.
    • Raw data is aggregated into time buckets.
    • Values are mapped using a Magma color scheme.

    Example RX Packets per Channel

Events

  • Type: Heat Map

  • Purpose: Provides the same view as the global Events Dashboard, but scoped to a single Gateway:

    • Events are displayed over time, aggregated into buckets.
    • Values are mapped using a Magma color scheme.

    Example Events

Notes

The Dashboard feature is currently in Beta.
Functionality, design, and available metrics may change in future releases based on user feedback and ongoing improvements.
